Amid big feud, Nayanthara and Dhanush avoid each other at wedding ceremony

Nayanthara and Dhanush’s legal battle has taken the internet by storm. The Internet is already divided between two sides, arguing who is right and who is wrong. Amid such tension, Nayanthara and Dhanush recently attended producer Aakash Baskaran’s wedding where the superstars visibly avoided each other. The video was shared on Instagram by Nayanthara and Vinesh Shivan’s security team. The video shows the celebrity couple arriving at the event. For those who haven’t been following the chain of events, here’s an update. On Saturday, Nayanthara shared an open letter on Instagram, criticizing Dhanush for touching an “all-time low” by demanding compensation of Rs 10 crore from the jawan actress. The reason for the lawsuit was a 3-second excerpt from Nayanthara’s film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, produced by Dhanush, which appeared in the trailer of the documentary series.

An excerpt from Nayanthara’s letter read, “After two long years of fighting with you for NOC (No Objection Certificate) and waiting for your approval to release our Netflix documentary, we have finally decided to give in, edit and agree to the current version as you refused to allow use songs of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan or visual cuts, even photographs to say the least, despite numerous requests.”

Dhanush’s lawyer issued a statement threatening legal action if the content is not removed within 24 hours. A statement from Dhanush’s legal representative said: “Advise your client to remove the content infringing my client’s copyright on the film ‘NAANUM RODI DHAAN’ by using it in your client’s documentary titled ‘NIANTHARA BEYOND A FAIRY TALE’ within 24 hours, otherwise my client will be forced to initiate appropriate legal action including, but not limited to, a claim for damages to the tune of Rs.10 crores against your client. and Netflix India.”

Nayanthara also shared a post thanking Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and other producers who allowed her to use footage from their films for her documentary and provided her with No Objection Certificates (NOCs) without any “hesitation or delay.” .
