Kuwait welcomes delegations to Crown Prince Shooting Championships

Khaled Al Jarid and Hamad Al Ruwaisan arrive for the Crown Prince Shooting Championships in Kuwait.

KUWAIT, November 4: Delegations of teams participating in His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled’s shooting championship, scheduled for November 8-16, continue to arrive in Kuwait. The Qatar and Bahrain national team delegations are expected to arrive today following the arrival of Qatari federation officials and administrators.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Organizing Committee, headed by the President of the Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federation, Eng. Dwaij Al-Otaibi is finalizing the organizational details to ensure a successful championship. Known for its excellence in hosting respected competitions, the committee strives to deliver an event that meets the high standards expected of participating delegations.

Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federation Secretary General and Championship Director Obaid Al Osaimi is actively overseeing the latest preparations, meeting regularly with sub-committees to ensure smooth organization.

Hamad Al-Ruwaisan, head of the Kuwait Shooting Federation’s Shooting Judging Committee, announced that a refresher course for participating judges will be held the day after tomorrow. The purpose of this course is to familiarize referees with the latest changes in international shooting laws and clarify their responsibilities. He noted that the competition will be served by 22 experienced Kuwaiti judges with international certificates. The training of these referees began four months ago to ensure fairness and adherence to the rules in every match.

The head of the refereeing commission, Khaled Jarid, confirmed the readiness of the judges for the championship. Having undergone advanced training, the judges were familiarized with the latest international shooting laws. Jarid emphasized that the professionalism and skill of Kuwaiti shooting judges are highly valued at regional and international competitions.
