UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam Result is likely to come out in the third week of November

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is likely to announce the final results of the written examination conducted for the recruitment of 60,244 police constables by the third week of November, board officials said in a statement on Saturday.

“We are already in the process of evaluating the OMR sheets, so the results of the written exam may be released by the third week of November for the second round of the recruitment process, the details of which will be published on the board website,” confirmed UPPRPB Chairman Rajeev Krishna.

The written examination for recruitment of police constables was conducted in 10 shifts over five days in early August this year.

The statement further said that the final replies to the questions published on October 30 are available on the board’s official website uppbpb.gov.in and ctcp24.com/uppbpbcst23/in… until November 9 after consideration of objections. received from applicants and advice from subject matter experts.

It clarified that all wrong questions have been quashed and marks will be awarded to each candidate as per the directions of the Allahabad High Court issued in the suit filed by Pawan Kumar Agrahari against the UP Public Service Commission.

It is to be noted that out of 1500 questions, 25 were found incorrect, 150 questions in each set of papers, in 10 different sets of question papers used for 10 examination shifts spread over two shifts of five days.

A senior board official said that in 29 of these questions, more than one answer option was correct. So, it was decided that points will be awarded to all candidates who tick either of the two options. Also, an option in the answer keys of 16 questions was corrected after previous answers were found to be incorrect, the official added.

Earlier, on September 11, the first answer keys were published on the board’s website, and objections were received from applicants to further correction of the keys. The official said that a total of 70 objections were found to be correct, out of which 25 questions were found to be incorrect and were cancelled, while 29 questions had two correct options and the answers mentioned in the previously released keys to 16 questions were incorrect. which has been corrected into the final list.

The official said the board is preparing to release the final list of exclusions as per the final answer keys released on October 30. A report on X said that the board is already in the process and information regarding the list of exclusions will be published soon on its official website. website.

Over 34.6 lakh candidates out of a total of 48,17,441 applicants appeared for the written exam in August earlier this year and are awaiting official confirmation of the date and time of the results.

Candidates who clear the written examination will be called for Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification, details of which will be published on the board’s website.

Notably, more than 48,17,441 million aspirants, including 15 million women, have applied for the written examination for Police Constable recruitment. Of these, around 34.6 million candidates appeared for the written examination for 60,244 police posts.

Of the total positions offered, 20 per cent are reserved for women. Thus, the process will involve 12,049 women and 48,195 men.
