Deep Value Investing Profile Picture

A small high-net-worth individual investor with a modest private investment portfolio shared approx. 50%-50% between shares and call options. I have a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering and over 6 years of experience as a consulting engineer in the aerospace sector. This last statement is in no way relevant to my investing style, but I decided to add it for self-indulgence purposes. I have a contrarian investing style, I am a high risk taker and often deal in illiquid options. How illiquid? Well, you can land Jumbo on the pad and still be cleared to take off. I buy stocks from time to time, mainly to prevent my fellow investors from pigeonholing me as a “degenerate”, so I allocate 50-50%. My time frame usually ranges from 3 to 24 months. I like stocks that have recently experienced a sell-off due to non-recurring events, especially when insiders are buying shares at a new lower price. This is how I often look at thousands of stocks, mostly in the US, although I may own stocks in banana republics as well. I use fundamental analysis to review the health of companies that go through my screening process, their leverage, and then compare their financial performance to the industry, as well as the industry median and average. I also conduct professional background checks on every insider who bought shares after the recent sell-off. I use technical analysis to optimize entry and exit points for my positions. I mainly use multi-colored lines for support and resistance levels on weekly charts. From time to time I draw trend lines that are taken for granted in colorful patterns. Note. I tried to make my introduction as real and authentic as possible. I don’t like empty suits, high-level bullshit, deep-level bullshit, unnecessary jargon, and condescending third-person written introductions with an air of superiority. Thanks for reading my introduction!
