Harris’ backdrop Tuesday is the position she hopes to fill.

Former President Donald Trump returned to Pennsylvania on Tuesday for a roundtable discussion in Drexel Hill with Mike Huckabee.

He spoke about what he believes are the most important issues in the upcoming election.

“In every poll, inflation and the economy come first, and the border comes third. I think inflation is terrible. I think this is wrong. I think number one is the border,” he said.

Trump is also expected to hold a rally Tuesday night in Allentown, which has a majority Latino population.

That remains an important factor as the former president and his campaign try to distance themselves from disparaging comments about Puerto Rico made by a speaker at his rally in New York over the weekend.

On Tuesday morning at Mar-a-Lago, Trump called the Madison Square Garden rally a “love fest.”

He also held a rally Monday on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta after attending the National Faith Summit. There, Trump criticized Democrats for using what he called vile rhetoric and told the crowd that his administration would stop inflation and bring back the American Dream.
