Charlottesville Botanical Garden Celebrates the Unique Nature of Fall

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WV) – The Piedmont Botanical Garden hosted a festival celebrating fall on Saturday, November 2nd.

The festival offered lessons about local wildlife and plants, as well as a connection to nature.

People were also able to enjoy the scenery and the newly restored creek.

The Botanical Garden’s executive director says getting to know the local community involves knowing the natural world.

“Botanic gardens are important to their communities because they tell a lot about the environment in which people live, but they also help improve that environment,” said Piedmont Botanical Garden Executive Director Jill Triesch-Man.
