Isaiah Adams

Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman

➜ What Happened: The rookie played 26 snaps on offense and four more snaps on special teams in Arizona’s 28-27 road win last Sunday over the Dolphins in Miami.

➜ What’s next: The Cardinals (4-4) will look to move up. 500 when they face the Bears (4-3) at 3:05 pm Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Tony Adams

New York Jets safety

➜ What Happened: The third-year defensive end was sidelined during the Jets’ 21-13 home win Thursday night over the Texans with a hamstring injury.

➜ What’s next: New York (3-6) takes the field on Nov. 10 when it faces the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.

Nick Allegretti

Washington commanders

➜ What Happened: Allegretti started at left guard and played all 74 offensive snaps for Washington in the Commanders’ thrilling, last-second 18-15 win over the Bears last Sunday at home.

➜ What’s next: Washington (6-2) will play the NFC East rival Giants (2-6) at noon Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Chase Brown

Cincinnati Bengals running back

➜ What Happened: Brown had a 4-yard rushing touchdown and finished with 32 yards on 12 carries in the Bengals’ 37-17 home loss last Sunday to the Eagles. Brown also caught two passes for two yards and essentially split snaps starting with running back Zack Moss as Brown was involved in 28 offensive snaps.

➜ What’s next: Cincinnati (3-5) hosts the Raiders (2-6) for a home game at noon Sunday at Pacore Stadium.

Sydney Brown

Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback

➜ What Happened: Brown earned bragging rights for his twin brother when Sydney’s Eagles cruised to a 37-17 road win over Chase’s Bengals last Sunday in Cincinnati. Sidney Brown took 19 snaps, including 16 on special teams and three others on defense.

➜ What’s next: Philadelphia (5-2) hosts the Jaguars (2-6) on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. when the Eagles don Kelly Green jerseys at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Tommy DeVito

New York Giants cornerback

➜ What Happened: DeVito was on the inactive list for the eighth straight week as the third-string quarterback for the Giants, who lost to the Steelers 26-18 last Monday night in Pittsburgh.

➜ What’s next: The Giants (2-6) host the Commanders (6-2) in an NFC East matchup on Sunday at noon.

Kendrick Green

Houston Texans offensive lineman

➜ What Happened: Green replaced the injured Kenyon Green in the second quarter and played 57 snaps at left guard, plus six snaps on special teams, in a 21-13 road loss to the Jets on Thursday night.

➜ What’s next: The Texans (6-3) have an extended break before their Week 10 game against the Lions on Nov. 10 in Houston.

Jake Hansen

Houston Texans linebacker

➜ What Happened: Hansen had 19 snaps on special teams in the Texans’ 21-13 loss to the New York Jets on Thursday night.

➜ What’s next: Houston (6-3) won’t play until Nov. 10, when the Texans host the Lions on “Sunday Night Football.”

Nate Hobbs

Cornerback for the Las Vegas Raiders

➜ What Happened: The defensive back started at corner and made four tackles, including one for a loss, in Las Vegas’ 27-20 home loss to the Chiefs last Sunday. Hobbs also was on the field for 65 of the Raiders’ 72 defensive snaps.

➜ What’s next: The Raiders (2-6) will travel to Cincinnati before Sunday’s noon game against the Bengals (3-5).

Kerby Joseph

Detroit Lions safety

➜ What Happened: The starting quarterback had a standout game, intercepting a pass from Mason Rudolph and returning it 33 yards, along with six tackles and two pass breakups in the Lions’ 52-14 home win over the Titans last year. Sunday. Joseph also played all 76 of Detroit’s defensive snaps in the 38-point win.

➜ What’s next: The Lions (6-1) will face the NFC North rival Packers (6-2) on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Ted Karras

Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman

➜ What Happened: Karras started at center and played all 58 offensive snaps in the Bengals’ 37-17 loss to the Eagles last Sunday.

➜ What’s next: Cincinnati (3-5) plays its second straight home game against the Raiders (2-6) in town in a noon game on Sunday.

Doug Kramer

Chicago Bears offensive lineman

➜ What Happened: Kramer played a role in the Bears’ brutal loss. Playing fullback on a trick play, Kramer fumbled a pass from quarterback Caleb Williams at the 1-yard line (and fellow former Illini Johnny Newton recovered it) midway through the fourth quarter as the Bears lost on the road 18–15. commanders last Sunday. It was one of 16 snaps Kramer took on offense, as he also played one snap on special teams.

➜ What’s next: Chicago (4-3) travels to Glendale, Ariz., to play the Cardinals (4-4) Sunday at 3:05 p.m. at State Farm Stadium.

➜ What Happened: Lowe started at left tackle and played all 67 snaps in New England’s 25-22 home win over the Jets last Sunday.

➜ What’s next: New England (2-6) plays the Titans (1-6) at noon Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Quan Martin

Security of Washington Commanders

➜ What Happened: Martin turned in a strong defensive performance for Washington, starting at free safety, making a team-high 10 tackles (one of which was for a loss) in the Commanders’ 18-15 home win last Sunday over the Bears. Martin played all but 10 of his team’s defensive snaps as he was on the field for 53 snaps.

What’s next: Washington (6-2) will look to remain atop the NFC East when the Commanders play the division rival Giants (2-6) at noon Sunday in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Chase McLaughlin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers forward

➜ What Happened: The Texan continued to show his potential as McLaughlin kicked a 52-yard field goal and added four successful extra points in the Buccaneers’ 31-26 home loss last Sunday to the Falcons.

➜ What’s next: Tampa Bay (4-4) faces the undefeated Chiefs (7-0) on Monday at 7:15 p.m. at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Johnny Newton

➜ What Happened: The rookie started at defensive tackle and finished the game with three tackles (one for loss), one fumble recovery and three quarterback hits while playing 35 defensive snaps in the Commanders’ 18-15 last-second home win over Hailey. . Last Sunday, Mary walked Jayden Daniels against the Bears.

➜ What’s next: Washington (6-2) plays on the road against the Giants (2-6) at noon Sunday.

➜ What Happened: Palczewski was on the inactive list with an ankle injury while the Broncos were coming off a 28-14 home win over the Panthers last Sunday.

➜ What Happened: The veteran linebacker played 19 snaps on special teams in the Texans’ 21-13 road loss to the New York Jets on Thursday night.

➜ What’s next: Houston (6-3) has overtime to prepare for its Week 10 matchup against the Lions on Nov. 10 in Houston.

➜ What Happened: Reiman started at tight end and played 29 snaps on offense and 11 snaps on special teams, but did not catch a pass in Arizona’s dramatic 28-27 win last Sunday over the Dolphins in Miami.

➜ What’s next: The Cardinals (4-4) play the Bears (4-3) on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. in Glendale, Arizona.

Trent Sherfield

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver

➜ What Happened: The former Danville and Vikings standout had the day off Sunday following a 30-20 loss to the Rams on Oct. 24.

➜ What’s next: Minnesota (5-2) will try to snap a two-game losing streak Sunday at 7:20 p.m. against the Colts (4-4) at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Davuan Smoot

Buffalo Bills defensive lineman

➜ What Happened: Smoot started at defensive end and made one tackle for loss and two quarterback hits while playing 22 defensive snaps and two snaps on special teams in Buffalo’s 31-10 road win last Sunday over the Seahawks.

➜ What’s next: The Bills (6-2) host the Dolphins (2-5) in a noon game Sunday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

Minnesota Vikings linebacker

➜ What Happened: The veteran linebacker and the rest of the Vikings didn’t play Sunday after a 30-20 road loss to the Rams on Oct. 24.

➜ What’s next: Minnesota (5-2) hosts the Colts (4-4) on Sunday at 7:20 p.m.

Casey Washington

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver

➜ What Happened: Washington saw limited action, with all five of his snaps coming on special teams in Atlanta’s 31-26 road win last Sunday over the Buccaneers.

➜ What’s next: The Falcons (5-3), who lead the NFC South, will play the Cowboys (3-4) at noon Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Detroit Lions wide receiver

➜ What Happened: The rookie caught two passes for six yards (on three targets) and played five snaps on offense and three snaps on special teams as the Lions routed the host Titans for a 52-14 win last Sunday at at Ford Field in Detroit.

What’s next: Detroit (6-1) plays the Packers (6-2) Sunday at 3:25 p.m. at Lambeau Field.

Devon Witherspoon

Seattle Seahawks cornerback

➜ What Happened: The sophomore cornerback started at corner and played five snaps while appearing on 69 of a possible 76 defensive snaps in Seattle’s 31-10 home loss to the Bills last Sunday.

➜ What’s next: The Seahawks (4-4) play another home game against the Rams (3-4) ahead of the NFC West showdown Sunday at 3:25 p.m. at Lumen Field in Seattle.
