NBL: Breakers beat 36ers in Auckland

With Parker Jackson-Cartwright running the show as only he can and his teammates bringing their hard hats, the New Zealand Breakers had too much energy for the Adelaide 36ers in a 109-82 home win.

Despite a grueling travel schedule and the absence of key trio Max Darling, Mojave King and former Sixers captain Mitch McCarron, the Breakers burst out of the blocks at Spark Arena on Saturday night and never looked back.

While they were thumped by South East Melbourne Phoenix in Christchurch, the Breakers rallied for a spirited win last Sunday in Sydney over the Kings.

They carried that momentum into Auckland, scoring the first 10 points of the contest and, with dynamic guard Jackson-Cartwright doing just about everything he wanted in a thrilling game, the Breakers remained in the lead the rest of the way.

The Sixers arrived having won five of their last six games, led by their import trio of Kendrick Davis (18 points, six assists), Montrezl Harrell (25 points, six rebounds) and Jarrell Martin (11 points, three rebounds, three steals). contributed a lot, they never seriously threatened.
