How to disable pop-up blocker in Microsoft Edge

How to disable pop-up blocker in Microsoft Edge

To allow websites to display pop-ups in Microsoft Edge, you need to disable your browser’s pop-up blocker. Here’s how to do it on desktop and mobile.

Why disable pop-up blocker in Edge?

Typically, you don’t need to disable Edge’s pop-up blocker. It’s helpful to block intrusive ads and alerts, many of which are phishing attempts.

However, some sites require pop-ups to function properly. If you ever encounter one of these sites, you’ll need to either add it to your pop-up blocker exceptions list or disable your blocker entirely (you can always turn it back on later).

How to disable pop-up blocker in Edge (on desktop)

To turn off Edge pop-up blocker on your computer, first in the top right corner of Edge, click the three dots.
