So, as 2024 comes to a close, you might be wondering when Spotify will release this year’s Wrapped. Get ready because the answer will come sooner than you expected.

When will Spotify Wrapped 2024 be released?

Spotify has not yet announced the official launch date for Spotify Wrapped 2024. But some users are already receiving pop-ups with the message: “2024 is almost over. Please update your app to get ready for Wrapped.”

They’ve also updated their Spotify for Artists page, inviting music talent to record a 30-second clip of themselves for their top listeners to see. The deadline for clip submissions is November 15th, so Wrap will not be released before then. So when will it be released? Let’s look at past release dates to get an idea.

When will Spotify stop tracking Wrapped 2024?

It goes without saying that compiling a list of your favorite songs is impossible without tracking your Spotify listening history. But many users are wondering when it will start and have stopped signing up for the annual Wrapped since it comes out almost a month before December 31st.

Many believe that Spotify will stop tracking your listening habits on October 31st. But in response to the now-deleted post, the company’s official X account confirmed that this will continue beyond October 31st. I’m guessing it stops somewhere around mid November. So while all your Halloween tracks may appear on your “Spotify Wrapped,” your Christmas playlist will be left out.

When the clock strikes 12, when does the new year startand the streaming platform will start listening to everything you record for next year’s Wrapped. So you still have time to fix Wrapped if, like me, you’ve been playing some brain-dead songs on repeat lately.
