Silver Alert canceled after Leawood man found safe

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – A Silver Alert has been canceled after a Leawood man was found safe and returned home.

The Leawood Police Department has asked for assistance in locating missing man John C. Ground.

Ground is a 5ft 7in tall, 83-year-old man who suffers from dementia and can become easily disoriented.

He was last seen driving a white Kia Sedona in the area of ​​83rd and Somerset Streets on November 1 at 3:40 p.m. The vehicle is believed to have license plate 066CRU.
