Allison Felix is ​​determined to create a world where parents have access to everything they need to thrive. Her latest partnership supports this mission. The seven-time Olympian is working to ensure mothers have easy access to vote. Felix works with the national non-profit organization Mothers’ Chamber to provide women, especially women from low-income communities, with access to child care.

“You never have to choose between your profession, hobbies and motherhood,” Felix said. “I’m honored to partner with the Chamber of Mothers to tell moms that you don’t have to choose between voting and motherhood this election. You can do both in this election.”

The campaign will operate in North Carolina and New York.and Los Angeles. Each location will offer a variety of child care options, such as in-home services, drive-thru or reimbursement, so mothers can go and vote. In North Carolina, the Chamber of Mothers is partnering with Politisit to cover moms’ child care costs for up to two hours. To ease the burden of mothersthey can use the resources provided to hire a nanny and go to the polls.

In the densely populated cities of Los Angeles and New York, the nonprofit works with Childcare providers Brella and Vivvi offer mums full-day childcare.

On Election Day “Smart Sitting” in New York and “Boomo” in California, everyone will donate $10,000 to child care services in partnership with Politist. Mums can book on-demand in-home nanny services through Smart Sitting or arrange flexible center-based care through Bumo.

While the campaign only offers free child care in the states mentioned, the Chamber of Mothers has created a digital voting guide available to anyone across the country.
