Taylor and Travis Dogs’ Halloween Costumes Take the Internet by storm – “Best Video”

Two adorable dogs have taken the internet by storm with their Halloween costumes, paying homage to the viral moment featuring Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Cissa and Chopper, two golden retrievers, were dressed as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his pop icon girlfriend.

The Texas pups wore a Chiefs jersey with Kelsey’s number 87 on the front, while Sissa wore a red tulle skirt and a blonde wig with red ribbons. Both dogs wore the “friendship bracelets” that Swift’s fans have traditionally handed out at her concerts and which Kelsey was also seen wearing.

Sissa’s look was completed with a custom-made T-shirt that read: “Karma is the guy from the leaders.”

This refers to a viral moment that occurred in November 2023, just weeks after Kelsey and Swift went public with their romance. Kelsey flew to Argentina to show her performance Eras tour.

The viral moment occurred when Swift changed the lyrics to her song “Karma” while Kelsey watched in person with the singer’s father, Scott Swift.

“Karma is the guy from the Chiefs, coming straight to my house,” Swift sang, replacing the original lyrics, “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight to my house.”

Kelsey responded to this moment upon returning to the US in an episode of his New Heights podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelsey: “When I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me. I was like, ‘Oh, shhh…she actually just said that,'” he said last year.

A snippet of the moment was shown over Sissa and Chopper’s video on their official TikTok account and received almost 723,000 views. The video was later re-posted on X (formerly Twitter), where it has received almost 242,000 views at the time of writing.

“Karma is the chiefs puppy,” reads the TikTok caption.

Newsweek contacted the owners of Cissa and Chopper via email Friday morning for comment.

People reacted to the puppy Halloween costumes in the TikTok comments.

“This made me so happy,” wrote @dariakateb.

“These outfits made me giggle 🤭 (love them!),” added @ilovetaylorswift8.

“Oh my god, I’m obsessed with this! 🫶💖🤩,” commented @_blondeboulevard_.

Swift changing her lyrics to a reference to Kelsey wasn’t the only time she paid tribute to him during her record-breaking Erastour, which is coming to an end of 152 shows in a matter of weeks.

When performing her song “Midnight Rain”, she shows a different gesture towards the end of the song each night. She regularly does things that reference Kelsey, like pretending to throw a football, saying the word “touchdown” or imitating the tight end’s iconic bow-and-arrow landing routine.
