The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the January session of JEE Main 2025 on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will need a valid email address and mobile number to register for JEE Main 2025. Candidates can check the application procedure, scanned documents required for uploading and other important information below.

JEE Main 2025: Documents to Download

To fill the application form for JEE Main 2025, the candidate needs to upload the following documents with the specifications given below.

1. Upload scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature, Class X certificate or equivalent certificate/mark sheet and PwD/PwBD certificate (where applicable).

2. The latest passport size photograph must be in color and must show 80% of the face (without mask), including the ears, on a white background. The photo must be titled “Photograph” and must be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly readable) between 10 and 300 KB in size.

3. The signature file must be named “Signature” and must be in JPG/JPEG (clearly readable) format, ranging in size from 10 to 50 KB.

4. The scanned copy of the Class X certificate or equivalent certificate/labeled sheet must be titled “Class X Certificate” and must be in PDF format ranging in size from 10 to 300 KB (clearly readable).

5. The scanned copy of the PwD/PwBD certificate must be titled “Certificate of Disability” and be in PDF format ranging in size from 10 to 300 KB (clearly readable).

How to apply for JEE Main 2025?

Step 1: Visit the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the link “Online Application for JEE (Main) – Session 2025-1”.

Step 3: Now click on the New Registration tab and register with the required details.

Step 4: Now login using the system generated registration number and password and fill the application form.

Step 5: Pay the registration fee and submit your application.

Step 6: Print the application form and save it for future reference.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern

JEE 2025 Main Paper 1, common to BE/Btech courses, will have 75 questions worth 300 marks. There will be 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in Section A and 15 questions in Section B which can be answered using numerical values. The questionnaire will be administered for 3 hours in CBT mode. Candidates should note that NTA has changed the JEE Main paper pattern to the pre-COVID-19 format and now Section B has only 5 questions, all of which are compulsory.

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2025 in two sessions – in January and April. The January JEE Main 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held from January 22 to 31, 2025. JEE Main exam 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages ​​i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia. , Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
