Garrett Wilson made one of the most spectacular plays in recent memory to help the New York Jets beat the Houston Texans on Thursday.

After Davante’s standout catch, Adams joked that Wilson might be stripped of his Adidas sponsorship due to his resemblance to the Jordan logo.

“I told him he might get kicked out of Adidas after this,” Adams said. “It was like he went to Jumpman with me. Let’s see, I’ll talk to some people about it. I’m not going to say they’ll change the logo, I know (Michael Jordan) might. Not that I’m saying that. But it was a difficult trick.”

As Adams mentioned, Wilson looked exactly like Michael Jordan’s iconic silhouette as he pulled off the absurd landing move.

Wilson likely won’t be parting ways with Adidas anytime soon after signing a contract multi-year deal worked for a shoe company before being drafted in 2022, but he might get a call from Jordan when it comes time to sign a new contract.

Wilson’s incredible one-handed touchdown came in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game to give the Jets a 14-10 lead.

What’s even more absurd about this moment is that it wasn’t even his first one-handed touchdown of the game. In the third quarter, he intercepted a one-handed pass from Aaron Rodgers and then raced into the end zone to give New York its first score of the game.

Wilson finished the game with nine receptions for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The third-year receiver has amassed 663 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 60 receptions this season.

His new teammate Adams had his best game in a Jets uniform, hauling in seven receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown in the fourth quarter to help seal the game.

The win snapped New York’s five-game losing streak as the team looks to build momentum and continue to compete for a playoff spot.
