Tyreek King will join Tennessee football as a four-star wide receiver in the 2026 class.

Knox Catholic’s Tyreek King committed to Tennessee football on Thursday. He chose the Vols over offers from Alabama, Auburn and Michigan.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound wide receiver is considered a four-star wide receiver in the 2026 class and the No. 120 player in the 2026 recruiting cycle, according to the 247sports Composite. He is Tennessee’s third-highest-rated recruit in his class.

King will be Tennessee’s fifth player in the 2026 recruiting cycle. King visited UT for games against Kent State and Alabama this season.

Tyreek King joins Faizon Brandon in Tennessee’s 2026 football class

Five-star cornerback Faison Brandon committed to Tennessee in 2026 when he committed in early August. Brandon is the No. 1 recruit in the country. The 6-4, 195-pound Brandon chose Tennessee over Alabama, LSU and NC State to continue UT’s struggles with elite defensive backs in recent recruiting classes.

Four-star tight end Carson Snead was the No. 2 player in the class. The Donelson Christian Academy product chose UT over Ohio State.

Four-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson and three-star defensive lineman Tyson Bacon committed following Tennessee’s win over Alabama on Oct. 19. Anderson, a 6-4, 320-pound player from Kennesaw, Georgia, chose UT over a long list of SEC schools. including Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Texas A&M. The 6-4, 255-pound Bacon, originally from Hoover, Alabama, chose Tennessee after receiving scholarship offers from Florida, Washington, Wisconsin and about a dozen other schools.
