The contribution of big business to the Australian economy is underestimated.

It is an unfortunate feature of Australia’s current political scene that leaders of all parties apparently see it as in the interest of their electoral prospects to criticize big companies.

Instead, they should celebrate the success of the companies that succeed and recognize the enormous contribution these companies make to the Australian economy and society.
