Albany County launched its annual foster-to-family program Tuesday ahead of the holiday season. The county Department of Children, Youth and Families program connects donors in the community to help people with basic necessities such as clothing, blankets, appliances and cookware.

Albany County launched its annual foster-to-family program Tuesday ahead of the holiday season.

The county Department of Children, Youth and Families program connects donors in the community to help people with basic necessities such as clothing, blankets, appliances and cookware.

Last year, with the help of 300 donors, they helped almost 400 families and 1,025 children.
