Palm Beach County Sheriff Candidate Mike Gauger Interviewed; Justice on the ballot

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Republican Mike Gauger is running to replace longtime Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw.

Before retiring, Gauger previously worked alongside Bradshaw as his chief deputy.

Speaking live on ARC Florida, Gauger outlined seven programs he would like to bring back if elected. He also spoke about his criticism of Bradshaw for security around Trump International Golf Club ahead of the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. He also discussed the trend of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office taking on law enforcement responsibilities in several communities and whether he sees that trend continuing.
