Ukraine and South Korea agreed to deepen security cooperation; North Korean Foreign Minister arrived in Russia

Ukraine and South Korea have agreed to deepen security cooperation to address the apparent strengthening of military ties between Moscow and Pyongyang. Evidence continues to mount (including confirmation from the US) that North Korea may soon send troops to fight on the front lines for Russia in its war in Ukraine. Meanwhile, North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Song-hee has arrived in Vladivostok, Russia, and will visit Moscow on October 30, state media reported. It said the trip comes as part of a strategic dialogue following an agreement to strengthen ties reached during a leaders’ meeting in June. Report by Lim Yoon Seok and Dasha Chernyshova.
