Actors Park Bo Gum and Kim Tae Ri will host in the US and Japan

For the first time in history, the MAMA Awards 2024 ceremony will be held in the USA. The three-day event begins on November 21 at Hollywood’s Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, followed by the awards ceremony in Osaka, Japan on November 22 and 23. The ceremony in the United States will be hosted by actor Park Bo Gum, while Kim Tae Ri will host the event in Japan. Sharing his thoughts on hosting the MAMA Awards, Park Bo Gum said, “I’m very happy to be a part of it. I look forward to a great performance and hope it will be a time where everyone becomes one through music,” Pinkvilla said.

Kim Tae Ri added, “I am honored to participate in a festival where indescribable efforts and talent will explode on stage like fireworks. I have deep respect for the artists and can’t wait for the day when we can all be together.”

Although Park Bo Gum has been hosting the MAMA Awards since 2017, this is Kim Tae Ri’s first time hosting the event.

This year’s star-studded lineup of MCs includes Byun Woo Seok, Seo In Guk, Ahn Jae Hyun, Choi Hyun Wook, Gong Myung, Lee Ji Ah, Seol In Ah, Kim Min Ha, Kwak Dong Yeon, Jo Yoo Ri, Na. Yong Seok and Hong Jin Kyung. Popular celebrities will take the stage to announce the nominees and present awards to the winners.

Speaking of the performers at the event, K-pop idol G-Dragon will be taking the stage at MAMA 2024 after 9 years. The previous one took place in 2015. The awards stage will also see the debut of 5th generation boy group BOYNEXTDOOR and virtual K-pop group PLAVE. In addition, KATSEYE, ILLIT, RIIZE, JY Park and TWS will perform in the US during the ceremony. ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, IVE and TREASURE will take the stage on the first day of the Japanese ceremony. Aespa, INI, ZEROBASEONE, LEE Young Ji and MEOVV will perform on the second day.
