Harris warns of ‘brutally serious’ consequences if Trump returns; Obama calls for unity at rally | N18G

On October 28, Vice President Kamala Harris warned at a rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan that Donald Trump’s return to the presidency would have “brutally serious” consequences. She stressed that there will be no one to stop him, not even the Supreme Court, which previously indicated his immunity from liability while in office. Current polls show Harris and Trump neck and neck in critical states as they both compete for undecided and independent voters while strengthening their positions ahead of the Nov. 5 election. Former President Barack Obama joined Harris in Pennsylvania, urging voters to reject the “politics of division and hate.” The call was prompted by controversial remarks made by a comedian at a Trump rally regarding Puerto Rico. Puerto Rican voters are crucial in swing states like Pennsylvania, and both candidates are competing fiercely for the Latino vote, which leans more Republican but still leans Democratic.
