A man refuses to approach women he knows he can’t afford

Dating quickly became more of an extreme sport than fun and finding your person. Thanks to online dating, apps, and just trying to navigate the ever-changing rules of finding love, finding your soulmate has become difficult. Add in financial constraints and you have a recipe for staying single.

The latter was brought up by a content creator named Eric Ou, who admitted that he thinks about finances before dating or even talking to a woman, and that if he suspects a potential love interest is not in the same economic category, he will walk away. .

A man says he won’t even approach women he knows he “can’t afford.”

“I see a lot of beautiful girls in public that I never approach because I know I can’t afford them,” Oh admitted. He explained that this happened recently after he saw a woman in public whom he thought was beautiful, but despite wanting to go up and talk to her, Ou held back after noticing her expensive appearance.

He recalled that the first thing he noticed was that she was wearing a flower bracelet, which he later learned was worth $4,000.

Considering the possibility that it was simply a fake, Ou didn’t let that stop him. But when he saw that she was wearing $595 sneakers, it stopped him.

“I was delirious and still trying to figure out if she and I could be in the same tax bracket. I look at her to the right and what do I see? Oh continued. She had a $3,000 Chanel purse, and at that point, Oh just decided to give up and leave. When he saw her luxurious Mercedes Benz, he knew he had made the right decision.

“I had no way of ever giving her the life she needed. I’ll stick with my Volkswagen Jetta and Nissan Altima girls.”

Many single adults have admitted that the cost of living has affected their dating life.

Dating is expensive. And it’s not just about spending on dinner and going to the movies.

New clothes and all the accessories that will help you look your best, combined with the expense of online dating or even just going to the right bars and restaurants in hopes of securing the perfect date, can take a toll on your wallet. especially if you go outside often.

According to a LendingTree survey of more than 2,000 U.S. consumers, nearly half (49%) of Americans surveyed are single, but only 9% are actively looking for a relationship.

Of those dating, 65% say inflation has affected their relationship life, with nearly one in four (23%) trying to spend less money on dates and 21% going on fewer dates.

Fourteen percent of Americans have even gone into debt as a result of dating, with men more than twice as likely to agree as women (21% vs. 9%).

Many traditional rules require men to pay for most dates, especially during the dating phase.

If you’re on social media, you’ve likely heard the tiresome arguments and debates about who should be responsible for paying for dates. Honestly, every person has different expectations.

Some women are looking for a man who will provide them with a financially secure lifestyle, just like some women have no problem splitting bills on dates. There are men who have no problem paying, and there are men who occasionally look for someone willing to collect a check.

Just because someone wears designer shoes or drives a luxury car does not mean that they are looking for someone to provide them with a certain life or buy them equally expensive things to match the things they already have.

And if that’s the case, and you start dating this person only to find out that your financial statuses don’t match, it’s very easy to call it a day and move on to someone else.

This is what a date is all about!

Before you judge someone by the way they dress, it’s best to go into dating with the idea that you’re looking for someone who matches your personality and life goals. It doesn’t hurt to be open about finances early on.

You don’t have to break a bank or go into debt just to ask someone out, and if that person isn’t willing to compromise, then they’re not your guy.
