After the mad rush to get tickets to the arena-spectacle that is a Coldplay concert, it’s finally almost time to see the world’s superstars work their magic in Melbourne.

Due to sky-high demand, the ballad masters eventually added additional shows, so Marvel Stadium will be filled with Coldplay fans for four days, starting Wednesday, October 30th until Sunday, November 3rd.

Here’s what we know about Coldplay’s Melbourne shows this week.

When is Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour coming to Melbourne?

Coldplay will take to the stage at Marvel Stadium for their first Melbourne concert, Music of the Spheres, on Wednesday 30 October. They will also perform on Thursday, October 31st, Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd.

How to get to Coldplay concerts in Melbourne

Marvel Stadium is next door to Southern Cross Station, so public transport is definitely the best way to get to a Coldplay concert in Melbourne. Simply cross the convenient pedestrian bridge to get from the platforms to the stadium entrance. Information on how to plan your trip using public transport can be found here.

What time will Coldplay take the stage?

Gates will open at approximately 5:00 pm and the music will begin at 6:15 pm with Sean as the opening act. They will be followed by Emmanuel Kelly at 6:45 p.m. and Ira Starr at 7:30 p.m. Coldplay will take the stage at 8:45 p.m.

What can I bring to the Coldplay show in Melbourne?

There are specific rules about what you can and cannot bring to Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour in Melbourne. Here are the main things to remember.

You can bring:

Strollers, strollers, strollers, bags and other items, however, they must be able to fit safely under the passenger seat without impeding access. Visitors are advised to travel without bags, but if a bag is required it should be no larger than A4 size.

You cannot bring:

The superstars have added additional dates for their stops in Sydney and Melbourne.
