Did Texas RB Joe Mixon finish in the top 10 in rushing in Week 7?

Death taxes and Joe Mixon throwing for 100 yards for the Houston Texans.

Those seem to be the only three things Houston fans know heading into Week 8.

Mixon, who made headlines after his breakout debut in a Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts, continued to be the backbone of the Texans offense in a 24-22 loss against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field. Not only did he score both of the Texans’ touchdowns, but he also rushed for 115 yards on 25 carries.

“Joe is going to make some big plays for us,” Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday. “And everyone enjoys the momentum that Joe is able to create with his running style and his playmaking ability is really important to our team.

Mixon’s success continues to keep the offense afloat, but where does it rank among the top performers for the week? On Tuesdays, Texans Wire brings you the top 10 performances of the week and tracks Mixon’s dominance throughout the season.
