Pastor and foster parent face 100 child pornography charges

A pair of cyber tips led to the arrest of an Arkansas pastor and foster parent who faces 100 child pornography-related charges.

James Vincent Henry, 43, came to the attention of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force after they were alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last month.

Henry – pastor Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Delight, Arkansas. He and his wife also served as foster parents to 76 children over the years before moving into a transitional residential program for young girls who needed help with life skills.

Before becoming the pastor of Crossroads Assembly of God, Henry also served as a youth pastor at four different churches.

Henry was arrested last week after a search warrant was executed.

According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, investigators reviewed digital evidence collected from the search warrant as well as information obtained from social media apps Snapchat and Kik, which led to 100 counts of possession, viewing and distribution of child pornography.

Henry has since been transported to the Pike County Detention Center, where he remains in custody.
