Over 30 Kings Cross venues with discounts on food and drink this November

Over 30 Kings Cross venues with discounts on food and drink this November

It’s been ten years since Sydney’s infamous lockout laws dampened our spirits and turned off the lights on the city’s nightlife. The laws were officially repealed in 2021 (which, alas, was a complete surprise at the height of the Covid lockdown). However, this year we’ve seen a resurgence in Sydney’s evening scene thanks to new government reforms making it easier for venues to stay open going forward. This November, more than 30 King’s Cross venues, including Vermuteria, Chula, Pelicano, Hook, Potts Point Hotel and many more – are teaming up for the Light Up The Cross campaign, offering great deals on food and drink and nightly shenanigans aimed at revitalizing the Cross and reviving its golden days.

Nathaniel Bourke, strategic director of the Kings Cross Quarter Team, said: “Kings Cross has always been a place of vibrant energy, creativity and inclusivity. We are thrilled to bring back that spirit and invite everyone to experience the Cross in a whole new light.”

This regeneration is not just about the venues – it is about the growth of the area over the last few years, the regeneration of the community and the celebration of the history and culture that makes Kings Cross unique,” Bourke added.
