Dil-Luminati concert in Jaipur: Diljit Dosanjh apologizes to fans for ticket scam

Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh, who was in Jaipur on Sunday on his multi-city tour “Dil-Luminati”apologized to his fans who were victims of an alleged ticket scam in the recent past.

In a candid moment during his concert in Jaipur on Sunday, the singer, whose performance attracted a large audience, acknowledged the situation and expressed regret over it.

Speaking from the stage, Diljit Dosanjh said, “If anyone is a victim of ticket scam, I apologize to that person. We didn’t do this. Authorities are currently investigating the matter.”

He also advised his fans to remain vigilant, urging them to “stay away from those involved in scams.”

Diljit Dosanjh explained it tickets for the event sold out quicklya situation that even his team didn’t fully anticipate. “Our tickets sold out so quickly that we didn’t even know it,” he added.

Ahead of the concert, which was held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura district, the Jaipur Police issued an alert asking people not to fall victim to fake ticket scams related to the event.

“ATTENTION! Beware of fake tickets! Only valid tickets will be valid for entry into the Diljit Dosanjh concert. Only tickets sold by Zomato Live and Scope Entertainment are valid; all others are illegal,” Jaipur Police said in a statement on X. “Entry with fake tickets is not possible. Beware of counterfeit ticket sellers and stay away from unauthorized buying and selling,” it added.

In response to high demand, Diljit Dosanjh announced additional dates on his Dil-Luminati Tour in September.expanding its performances to cities across India including Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Earlier this year, Diljit Dosanjh toured Europe, performing in Paris, London, Dublin and Amsterdam. In April, he made history by becoming the first Punjabi artist to perform at BC Place in Vancouver and the first Indian artist to perform at BC Place in Vancouver. graced the cover of Billboard Canada.
