The Broncos are projected to send one of their QBs to the Titans before the trade deadline.

The Denver Broncos had a tremendous rookie season thanks to first-round pick Bo Nix, and that early success could convince the team to move on from one of their other quarterbacks.

Nix is the guy the team has been waiting for for years, and the Broncos should be excited to see him play. When the 53-man rosters were finalized after the preseason, the Broncos decided to keep Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson. There were several thoughts about this step. The Broncos will have a veteran presence to help if Nix struggles, or they will have an option for a team in desperation that could offer some value in a trade rather than cutting them and getting nothing in return.

Making some bold predictions ahead of the November 5 trade deadline, Bleacher Report’s Christopher Knox sees the second scenario playing out, and the desperate team in this case is the Tennessee Titans.

Knox predicts the Titans will end the Will Levis era and could try to acquire former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson. He mentions other young guards Trey Lance, Mac Jones and Bryce Young who could also be considered.

Wilson failed miserably with the New York Jets, but the Broncos traded him this offseason and he had a good summer. Broncos coach Sean Payton seems to believe there is a place for Wilson in the league, but with Nix playing the way he does, that won’t be the case in Denver, at least not as a starter.

Tennessee Titans could trade for Zach Wilson from Broncos in forecast

Have the Titans seen enough of Levis? Knox seems to think so. Mason Rudolph keeps the boat afloat for now, but he is not a long-term option. If Wilson had been dealt to Tennessee via trade, it likely wouldn’t have been worth much more than a day three pick (if the Broncos could have gotten a fifth rounder, they would have gotten more than they gave up), and he would likely have been given would have the keys as a starter for the remainder of the season.

A situation like this would be exactly what Wilson should strive for to revitalize his career. This would be a good deal for the Broncos and would also add another draft pick to their 2025 roster.

This would make sense for the Broncos if they didn’t see Wilson as a long-term replacement for Nix. That’s unlikely, as teams around the league will want to see if they can get more out of the once-promising Wilson than the Jets ever got, meaning the Broncos will continue to receive offers for him.

One of these offers could arrive before Tuesday.
