Critical Role Organizes 2025 10th Anniversary Concert Tour

Attention, Animals! Critical Role turns 10 next year, and the Dungeons & Dragon roleplaying troupe is staging a world tour to celebrate the occasion.

In 2025, Critical Role’s eight founders and performers will perform live in five cities: Chicago, Fishers, Indiana (a suburb of Indianapolis), New York in the United States, and Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. (See below for dates and locations.)

Each live performance will be a separate event, although the pair of Australian shows will have “some loose story connections”, the company said. The show will weave new stories into the world of Critical Role Xandria with founding cast members Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, Marisha Ray, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Laura Bailey and Liam O’Brien. The tour is organized jointly with entertainment company AEG Presents and Australian Frontier Touring. More information about the tour, including ticket information, can be found at this link.

“Embarking on a global journey to bring Critical Role to the stage in brand new cities with our diverse group of adventurers is nothing short of a dream,” Marisha Ray, co-founder and creative director of Critical Role, said in a statement. “Not to mention, this is our tenth year of storytelling together—I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate!”

Critical Role started as a group of “nerdy voice actor friends playing a board game” and they held their first D&D livestream on March 12, 2015. Since then, Critical Role has gained millions of fans (lovingly nicknamed “The Beasts”) and the company has expanded into several business lines. This includes both fiction and non-fiction books from the New York Times bestseller list, comic books, graphic novels, collectibles, board and role-playing games, podcasts, live streaming, and the adult animated series The Legend of Vox Machina, which is currently being published for the third time. season on Amazon Prime Video. In addition, the company founded the Critical Role Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting several organizations, and the board game publishing company Darrington Press.

AEG Presents previously presented Critical Role’s Mighty Nein Reunion at the OVO Arena Wembley in London in October 2023. The 2025 tour “will give Critters the chance to experience Critical Role live,” said Eliza-Jane Oliver, promoter at AEG Presents. Meanwhile, the band’s first live shows in Australia “Aussie Critters will be blown away and we’re thrilled to be working with the team at Critical Role and AEG to help bring it to life for fans Down Under,” said the Frontier Touring CEO. Dion Brant promises.
