Bloodline members Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga shocked Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday, defeating them in a six-man tag team match.

Competing in their first match as a unit in a couple years, Reigns and The Usos weren’t on the same page at times, and The Bloodline took advantage when Sikoa pinned The OTC cleanly after several Samoan spikes.

After the match, The Bloodline began attacking Reigns and The Usos, but Sami Zayn made a surprise appearance, coming to the aid of his former Bloodline stablemates in Reigns, Jimmy and Jey.

However, Reigns and Zayn had a misunderstanding: they accidentally destroyed each other when they tried to attack Solo.

The Bloodline was once one of the most dominant factions in WWE history, with Reigns leading The Usos and Sikoa, but the dynamics of the group changed significantly leading up to and after WrestleMania 40.

Both Jay and Jimmy left The Bloodline last year, only for Jimmy to turn on his twin brother by helping Reigns defeat him at SummerSlam. This led to Jimmy and Jey facing each other at WrestleMania, while Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, ending his title streak of over 1,300 days.

With Reigns out of the picture after The Show of Shows, Sikoa took control of The Bloodline, kicking out Jimmy and Paul Heyman and bringing in Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Fatu.

Reigns finally returned at SummerSlam in August, but instead of helping Sikoa defeat Rhodes for the WWE Championship, he attacked him as payback for his hostile takeover of The Bloodline.

Roman called himself the Original Tribal Chief or “OTC” and attempted to reclaim the Bloodline, but with no one to help him, he stood no chance.

Reigns eventually formed an unlikely and reluctant partnership with Rhodes, leading to a tag team match against Sikoa and Fatu. Reigns and Rhodes won in large part due to the returning Jimmy Uso helping them out and reuniting with Reigns.

However, Reigns and Jimmy knew they needed more firepower to fight The Bloodline, so they turned to Jay, but he was initially uninterested in reconciling with OTC.

However, the tables turned when Pedigree cost him the Intercontinental Championship against Braun Breaker as Jay retaliated by costing the group the WWE Tag Team Championships against the Motor City Machine Guns.

Jay made peace with Jimmy, and despite still being wary of Reigns and how he treated him before, he agreed to reform the original Pedigree to fight the new version of the stable at Crown Jewel.

Reigns, Jimmy and Jey were unsuccessful in the six-man tournament, but the future of The Bloodline remains in great doubt due to two warring factions.
