Former Taylor Swift actor Matty Healy enjoys a romantic stroll in Sydney with his US celebrity fiancée Gabrielette Bechtel during a surprise trip to Australia.

Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Matt Healy was spotted enjoying a romantic stroll with his fiancee, American pop star Gabrielette Bechtel, in Sydney on Saturday.

The 35-year-old 1975 singer looked casual in a simple navy jumper paired with black trousers and matching shoes for the outing.

He wore his short dark hair in a stylish, unkempt manner and held a cup of coffee in his hand.

The English singer looked captivated by his beautiful 26-year-old partner as he held her hand and stayed close as they enjoyed a sunny stroll down a picturesque street.

Meanwhile, Gabrielette showed off a stylish all-black look in a designer blouse paired with a matching skirt.

The American influencer revealed she has adopted the Australian lifestyle by wearing sandals on her feet.

She let her freshly styled brunette hair hang loosely over her shoulders and accentuated her natural beauty with a light layer of nude makeup.

Gabby donned a black designer handbag and looked engrossed in conversation with her famous boyfriend as they enjoyed a fun day out.

The pair have been linked since September 2023, after Healy split from Swift in June of that year when they were spotted enjoying some steamy PDA in New York.

They are now an official couple and have since made several public appearances together, including at Fashion Week and his music concerts.

Often referred to simply as Gabrielette, she was born in Orange County, California in 1997, making her eight years younger than Mattie.

Although she moved to Los Angeles with dreams of becoming a ballerina, Gabrielette began her modeling career after starring in the Blood Orange music video.

However, things weren’t that simple as she told Vogue in May 2023 that she spent a lot of time as an “unpaid, hard-working model.”

Since then, she has worked with brands such as Diesel, Bottega Veneta and Marc Jacobs.

In addition to modeling, Gabrielette shares a taste for the stage, as Mattie was the lead vocalist of punk rock band Nasty Cherry, the group chosen by British pop singer Charli XCX in 2018.

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Gabrielette spoke about her relationship with Matty and even hinted that she wants children in the future.

Speaking to the publication, she said: “I love being in love” as she hung up on her fiancé.

She added: “When I thought I was in love before, I was just a person serving someone else.”

Vogue reported that the couple is preparing to move into their new home in the Hollywood Hills, where Gabrielette hopes to one day start a family.

She said: “When I have kids, it will be: dinner every night – no phones – to celebrate the little things and acknowledge people’s happiness.”

Hinting at how she and Matty first connected, responding to her advice to anyone still looking for love, she replied: “Reply to all your DMs and listen to your closest friends.”
