Chand hopes to revive bodybuilding in Fiji – FBC News

In a bid to revive bodybuilding in Fiji, national spokesman and bodybuilding veteran Christian Chand has announced that he will be organizing a show where he will invite young people to take part.

Chand says he will be working with the International Federation of Fitness and Bodybuilding in New Zealand, where they are looking to encourage locals to compete and get involved in bodybuilding.

He says the whole idea behind the show is to put Fiji on the international bodybuilding stage.

“We are coming together to do a show for regional boys, Fiji boys. He’s very keen to see what Fiji can achieve and wants to put Fiji on an international platform.”

He also says that all locals participating in the show will not be charged for the class they choose to participate in.

The event will take place at the Suva Civic Center on 9 November.
