Stitches said goodbye as another MLB season ends

Stitches said goodbye as another MLB season ends

My name is Stitches and I approve of this farewell message.

Long and winding road. … Stick a fork in us. We’re done. Long season.

Hope you enjoyed the trip.

In April and May we got off to our usual rocky start. In June and July -1150 piniels fell below sea level.

We knocked out winner after winner in the playoffs (which may or may not have saved our jobs), but like the Yankees, we finished the season with a -205 rissuto.

Hey Yankees fans, Mayor Adams still doesn’t have enough money in his budget for another parade.

Thank you. To you, readers, for helping us get to the end.

To all mail, both good and bad.

Mayor Adams, President Biden, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris for their endless supply of unintentional comedy.

Ben, Jen, Taylor and Travis. And to the editors at The Post who waited patiently for me to submit the story at midnight.

Enjoy the holidays. Enjoy the elections. Forecast?

This half of the country will be unhappy.

100 days until pitchers and catchers. Until then, stay healthy.
