It’s Heidivin again

Every year since 2000, Heidi Klum has thrown her famous Halloween party, showing up in completely outlandish costumes that others wouldn’t dare wear—think peacock, old woman and, of course, worm, which became an instant classic.

And this time, of course, is no exception.

Klum’s Alien wore a hat and blonde wig reminiscent of the memorable scene from Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster when Drew Barrymore’s character Gertie gives him a makeover.

Meanwhile, her rocker husband introduced the classic alien character.

The couple debuted their epic costumes at the model’s annual Halloween party held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City.

Her latest look was created with the help of veteran prosthetic designer Mike Marino, who has worked on projects including Max’s Penguin and Sebastian Stan’s new film The Other Man.

He was also responsible for Klum’s worm costume in 2022 and the Shrek and Fiona couple costume with Kaulitz in 2018.

Ahead of the big red carpet show, Klum shared photos of her lengthy preparation process, including one photo of her face covered in prosthetics and another holding her big toe.

Klum first shared a sneak peek of her outfit back in September.

“#HeidiHalloween is starting to take shape… 👻👻👻,” she captioned the video, showing a preview of her highly anticipated costume.

The clip looked like some sort of slithery reptile; however, she did not give any additional hints.

She also showed off her preparation process on Amazon Live, saying it was her “least comfortable” costume ever.

In an exclusive interview with People magazine in September, the America’s Got Talent judge revealed that, of course, she worked on the costume for months.

“Because you have to make shapes,” she told the publication. “We need to make prosthetics, we need to have fittings.”

“So yeah, there’s a lot to do here because I wanted to be so impressive that it’s not something I can just throw together overnight.”

Although she succeeds every time, Klum told the publication that she often feels pressured when it comes to presenting her annual costume.

“It takes a lot of time. It takes a lot of planning,” explains the former Project Runway host.

“Also, when I do a presentation, I want to make it special because I know I have so many fans, and Halloween fans are people who also love to dress up and come up with amazing things.

“So I feel like they really look at what I do and I don’t want to let anyone down, so I always give it my all,” Klum adds.

Consensus? Her costume was worth the wait.
