Liv Morgan says her two women’s titles can’t be compared

Liv Morgan has won WWE singles gold twice, but her first golden reign can’t compare to her current run as Women’s World Champion.

In 2022, Morgan won the SmackDown Women’s Championship by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract with then-champion Ronda Rousey.

This year, Morgan won the women’s world title at the King And Queen of the Ring tournament, defeating Becky Lynch.

In a recent episode of the Insight podcast, Morgan explained that the two titles simply cannot be compared. She said:

“They don’t do that. When I won the SmackDown title, I was in a lot of disbelief, like it was the pinnacle of my dream: going to WWE and becoming champion, winning Money the Bank, beating Ronda Rousey and getting my first title. It was really like, “Wow, I really, really, really did it, and I remember just standing on the turnbuckle with my title and just looking at the audience and just trying to remember everything about that moment and feel it forever because that I just could not believe it.

“When I won it, I didn’t have that feeling of disbelief: ‘Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.’ Finally I did it. It was like, “Yeah, motherfucker, I won this shit.” So at that level it was different and my confidence was just different. I kind of just said I was really grateful and just like, “Wow, I can’t believe I did this and I knew I deserved it and so I just treated it differently.”

Morgan will face Nia Jax at WWE Crown Jewel this weekend to determine the first ever WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Champion.
