The visitors started the game well when Dominik Szoboszlai gave them the lead in the 30th minute.

But Southampton got the Reds back just before half-time when Adam Armstrong converted from a missed penalty.

The penalty was won when young ace Dibling showed off his incredible speed and dribbling ability.

The 18-year-old left Robertson for dead as he made his way into the Liverpool penalty area before being brought down by the Scot.

And one Arsenal fan has urged Mikel Arteta to do everything he can for Dibling this summer.

They said: “Arsenal should throw whatever money they can at Southampton for Dibling. He’s damn good.”

Another said: “Dibling is effectively sending Robertson into retirement.”

One commented: “Dibling needs to be talked about after the way he moved against Liverpool.”

Another added: “This guy from Dibling is actually a baller.”

But their efforts ultimately proved fruitless as the Reds scored a late winner to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Dibling has now played 18 games for his boyhood club Southampton, making his Championship debut last season against Gillingham.

Ace rose through the ranks at St Mary’s but ended up briefly at Chelsea.

The Blues signed him in July 2022 and even agreed a future contract with Dibling.

But the winger failed to settle in London and quickly returned to Southampton just TWO months later.

Dibling is currently gaining momentum in the top flight with the Saints and has even become famous for playing in his ultra-low socks.
