Ruben Amorim’s instant reaction to Marcus Rashford’s goal after just 80 seconds got Manchester United fans talking – Man Utd

Fans spotted Ruben Amorim’s immediate reaction after Marcus Rashford gave Manchester United a 1-0 lead over Ipswich.

Amorim will play his first game as United manager after being officially appointed during the international break on November 11.

The 39-year-old produced a few surprises in his first-team selection, with Nossair Mazraoui playing on the right of a back three and Amad Diallo on the right flank.

And it was Amad who collectively gave Amorim the dream of a start to life in English football in just one minute and 20 seconds.

The Ivory Coast international raced down the right flank and passed several players before firing the ball into the box, with Rashford on hand to get to the ball first and deflect it past Ipswich goalkeeper Arijanette Muric.

Rashford left to celebrate, but fans noticed what Amorim did that they felt could define his era at United.

The Portuguese simply sat in his seat and watched his players celebrate.

And United fans on social media loved it.

One wrote: “Amorim is COLD. Man didn’t even celebrate.”

The second said: “Amorim did not celebrate? My manager.”

And a third added: “Amorim didn’t celebrate that goal at all. We really won.”
