Baby in a Basket has set a UK release date

Shepka Productions and Flickering Myth are delighted to announce the film’s upcoming UK release. Baby in a basketand the gothic horror feature will be released on digital and DVD on February 17, 2025 from High Flyers Films. US and international release details will be announced soon.

Baby in a basket Director: Nathan Shepka and Andy Crane (When darkness comes) and takes place on a remote Scottish island during World War II. When a baby is abandoned on the steps of an isolated convent, the nuns take him in, planning to care for him until the storm passes. However, soon strange and inexplicable events begin to occur in the monastery.

Baby in a basket is now available to pre-order on DVD in the UK via Amazon and HMV. The British Board of Film Classification gave it a rating of 18 for strong sex and disturbing scenes.

Cast Baby in a basket includes Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey), Michaela Longden (How to kill monsters), El O’Hara (Kara), Lisa Risner (Charlie’s Angels) and Nathan Shepka (Lock and Load) along with seasoned British talent Annabelle Lanyon (Legend), Maryam d’Abo (Living daylights) and Paul Barber (Full Monty).
