Former Randall and Amarillo College baseball star Duncan Bowles commits to Western Kentucky

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Former Randall star pitcher and current Amarillo College sophomore Duncan Bowles committed to Western Kentucky on Thursday.

Bowles is the first recruit from Amarillo College to commit to an NCAA program and the ninth recruit from AC to commit to a Division I program.

He joined the Badgers back in 2023 after helping Randall reach its first state tournament appearance in 16 years.

“I am happy and excited to announce that I will continue my academic and athletic career at Western Kentucky University! I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity and opportunity to play the game I love,” Bowles wrote in an Instagram post. “And a huge thank you to my parents for their sacrifices and support.”

As a Badger, he finished the 2024 spring season with 62 innings pitched, a 2.7 strikeout-to-walk rate and a 1.55 WHIP.
