Washington Commanders DC Praises Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb

Washington Commanders DC Praises Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb

The Washington Commanders face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12, and while America’s Team has a depleted offense with Dak Prescott sidelined for the year, they still have a weapon in CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb, 25, has 67 catches for 774 yards and four touchdowns this season for the Cowboys.

Commanders defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr., who was in the building with Lamb from 2021-23 with the Cowboys, knows how dynamic he can be.

“He can play any position from a receiver standpoint,” Witt said. “If you put him in the slot, he’s fast. He can beat you from above. He’s good, he’s not good, run for the catch. He is, I mean, simply excellent. So that’s why they sometimes put him in the backfill and throw it to him. He is a good screen runner. He can catch the ball in different places and in different planes. He can distort his body. I think he’s just an excellent, excellent football player and he’s cool, I mean he’s just a cool person. I used to like to say that only two of those guys, him and the Terps (Dallas Cowboys WR KaVonte Turpin), could really go in there and take over the defensive room. Because the guys on defense were a little confused, and he would come and sit down and go back and forth with these guys. So, I have a lot of respect for CeeDee, I like him a lot. He’s a good dude.”

Lamb and the Cowboys will look to take on the Commanders tomorrow at 1:00 pm ET.
