Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to appear at BIS, India launch could happen soon

Samsung Galaxy S25 series: The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is rumored to be launched globally, including India, in January this year. As anticipation grows for the company’s next flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S25 lineup has reportedly been spotted on various certification sites. Recently, the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. These upcoming smartphones are expected to be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and integrate Galaxy AI capabilities.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the BIS list includes Galaxy S25+ with model number SM-S936B and Galaxy S25 Ultra with model number SM-S938B. These IDs match those seen in recent Geekbench leaks. While the BIS listing released on Friday hints at the imminent launch of these phones in India, it does not reveal any specific details about their specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series: specifications (expected)

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series will debut in the first half of 2025. According to a recent leak, the Galaxy Unpacked event is likely scheduled for January 22 in San Francisco. Apart from the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, the company may also unveil the much-awaited Galaxy S25 Slim during the event.

The lineup is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and include support for advanced Galaxy AI features. Rumors suggest that the Ultra model will have a titanium frame, potentially resulting in a higher price compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Additionally, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra will reportedly launch in seven color options, while the Galaxy S25+ may offer eight color options, including three online-exclusive shades. More information about the Galaxy S25 series is likely to emerge in the coming weeks.
