Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley gave birth to their first child – report

The 34-year-old Australian actress and her longtime partner Tom, who tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in 2016, are enjoying their new baby’s bubble in the privacy of their $6.5 million Venice Beach home.

Margot’s pregnancy

News of the A-lister’s birth broke in July when she was photographed with a noticeable baby bump.

The Oscar-nominated star never confirmed the baby news in her statement and has not yet discussed her pregnancy. Representatives of Margot did not respond to the request HELLO! for comments.

Tom was photographed lovingly cradling Margot’s baby bump at Wimbledon this summer.

Margot previously expressed concern when she was asked when she planned to start a family.

In an interview in 2019 Radio Timesshe spoke about the pressure women face when trying to have children immediately after marriage. “I got married, and in almost every interview the first question is: “Children?” When will you have them?”

“I’m so angry at this social contract. You are married and now you have a child. Don’t assume. I’ll do what I’m going to do.”

The lovers met in 2013 on the set of a film and subsequently became business partners.

Tom is a British film producer and former actor. They met in 2013 when Margot was playing a supporting role in a film about World War II. French Suiteand hit it off instantly.

Margot and Tom famously shared a house in Clapham, south-west London, in a completely atypical showbiz style.

Discussing how she was adjusting to married life following their intimate wedding in Byron Bay, Margot said: Us weekly: “My husband and I were roommates before we started dating, so I kind of live with my roommate, which is great.

“We lived with a bunch of people and now we just live with just the two of us, so we feel very grown up now.”
