Arsenal are planning to replace the Saudi-linked star with £90m-rated forward Prem in a blockbuster 2025 transfer

Arsenal are planning to replace the Saudi-linked star with £90m-rated forward Prem in a blockbuster 2025 transfer

Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for West Ham United star Mohamed Qudoos as they await the departure of Leandro Trossard.

Trossard, 29, was the subject of a loan move from Al Ittihad at the end of the summer which was rejected, but the Saudi Pro League side remain interested and are willing to make him another offer.

According to Mirror, Arsenal have long had an interest in Kudus and were considering signing him before he joined West Ham from Ajax for around £40m last year.

The Ghana international has impressed at the London Stadium, scoring 16 goals in 55 appearances for the Hammers, and is being tracked by several top teams.

The report claims Arsenal are eyeing Kudus as a potential replacement for Trossard, who they expect to once again be a key target for Al Ittihad.

Kudus has been at the center of controversy recently and could face further punishment for being sent off in West Ham’s 4-1 defeat to Tottenham two weeks ago.

After scoring the first goal of the match, Kudus received a red card after colliding with Micky van de Ven, Richarlison and Pape Matar Sarr. He was charged with violent conduct and improper conduct for the incident “following the offense for which he was sent” and could face a three-match ban.

West Ham demand £90m for Arsenal

Arsenal have been keeping an eye on Kudus for some time now, but they are not the only team interested in the 24-year-old, with Liverpool also keeping an eye on his situation.

He can play as an attacking midfielder or striker, a versatility that reportedly appeals to Liverpool, who are already looking for a potential replacement for Mo Salah.

Salah, 32, is out of contract at the end of the season and sources have told TEAMtalk it is unlikely he will sign an extension and a lucrative free transfer to the Saudi Pro League is likely.

If Trossard and Salah both end up in Saudi Arabia next season, we could potentially see Arsenal and Liverpool go head to head in a transfer battle for Kudus.

It definitely won’t be cheap though. Kudus is under contract at West Ham until 2028 and they view him as an important player for the present and future.

Mirror claims West Ham would need an offer of £90 million to consider selling Kudus, with Arsenal, as well as Liverpool and Manchester City, considering a move for him in 2025.

Arsenal transfer gossip: Latest news on Ghiokeres / Arteta asks Partey

Meanwhile, Arsenal are considering signing a prolific striker to compete with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, with Sporting superstar Victor Guiokeres on their shortlist.

Sources exclusively told TEAMtalk that the Gunners are ready to compete with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United for Jokeres.

We understand Arsenal are seriously considering inserting a €100m (£84m/$108.5m) release clause into Ghiokeres’ contract but are likely to wait until next summer before doing so .

If more than one club meets his exit clause, Gyokeres will be his next destination and right now a move to the Premier League seems highly likely.

In other news, Arsenal are set to begin contract talks with midfielder Thomas Partey after he once again proved his importance to the team.

Reports suggest the Gunners could allow Partey to leave on a free transfer, but his performances this season may have changed Mikel Arteta’s mind.

Barcelona are keen to sign Partey on a free transfer, but Arteta is keen to prevent that and keep him at the Emirates for at least another season.
