Olivia Rodrigo’s “Red Flag” is a jab at Elon Musk

According to Olivia Rodrigo, she is “having a good time.” Much of this joy can be attributed to the monumental success of her second album. Guts and world tour support. But it could also have something to do with her blossoming relationship with Louis Partridge.

But their growing love didn’t stop Olivia from remembering her past dating experiences. While meeting with Netflix (can be watched here) to celebrate Guts World Tour In the film, Olivia Rodrigo revealed that her relationship was a red flag, and fans think it’s a hilarious but unintentional jab at Elon Musk and his efforts at SpaceX.

To weed out who Olivia will continue to date, she asks what they think about space adventures. “This is a very specific question I ask guys on first dates,” she said. “I always ask them if they think they would want to go into space. And if they say yes, I won’t date them.”

Olivia further explained the interrogation, saying: “I just think that if you want to go into space, you’re overconfident. I think it’s just weird.”

Fans overwhelmingly agreed with Olivia Rodrigo’s fiery statement.

“Is this Elon Musk’s shade? 😭,” – jokingly asked one user.

“Oh, she attacked Elon hard.” wrote another.

Others questioned Olivia’s subtlety in addressing Ariana Grande’s viral lie detector test results.

“Is she trying to discreetly shade Arianna?” asked one user.

Olivia Rodrigo has not commented on the public reaction to her comments.
