Yorke holds out his Radiohead at an amazing solo show

“What Radiohead songs do you think he’ll play?” asked my 12-year-old daughter as we stood in a queue snaking around the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House.

She expressed what many of the 6,000 souls here would have thought, even if they were too shy to say it out loud. (I bet most also hoped that Middle Eastern politicians wouldn’t invade, as they did in Melbourne on Wednesday, but they didn’t.)
