The Lenexa, Kansas Police Department reports that at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Friday, November 1, emergency crews were called to a home in the area of ​​Hallett and Mullen Roads, west of Little Mill Creek South Park, for reports of an armed person. excitement.

Arriving law enforcement officials said they heard gunfire in the area. Negotiators were called in as standoff operations began.
