Bishop McDevitt honors Rocco Ortensio and shuts out Lower Dauphin in District 3 5A first round

HARRISBURG — Not that any team needs extra motivation in the playoffs with the season on the line, but Bishop McDevitt showed an even deeper level of determination Friday.

The Crusaders didn’t just want to extend their campaign another week. They made it their mission to run onto the field at Rocco Ortensio Stadium to play for the stadium’s namesake, clutching his No. 72 jersey with decals on the backs of their helmets.
