Brookhaven Businesses Celebrate National First Responder Day – Daily Leader

BROOKHAVEN — Businesses helped celebrate National First Responders Day over the weekend and Monday. Tractor Supply in Brookhaven and local Woodmen Life Insurance helped recognize local first responders.

Jennifer Maynard, retail store manager for Tractor Supply, held a truck drive event and provided lunch to local first responders on Saturday. The event featured hometown heroes from the Brookhaven Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Brookhaven Fire Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol Mounted Unit and New Sight Volunteer Fire Department.

Lance Moak of WoodmenLife presented first responders with chicken on a stick coupons at the Brookhaven Police Department and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Additional coupons were distributed to the Brookhaven Fire Department, KDMC and Lincoln County Volunteer Fire Departments.
