Jeremy Allen White first appeared as Bruce Springsteen in the film Deliver Me Out of Nowhere.

After months of anticipation, we’re finally seeing actor Jeremy Allen White transform into Bruce Springsteen for the biopic. Deliver me out of nowhere – replaced his piercing blue eyes with brown contact lenses.

The film is based on Warren Zanes’ book about the making of Springsteen’s legendary solo album. Nebraskacurrently filming in New Jersey and New York.

White, who stars in Emmy Award Winning Drama Bearbrings his signature anguished playing to this depressive period in Springsteen’s life, when the rock legend wrote and recorded the album while living alone in Colts Neck, New Jersey, in the 1970s.

On set, White wore a red plaid button-down shirt and a classic leather jacket, and some photos showed him wearing a gray beret.

This week, the Brooklyn-born actor was spotted at a bookstore and cafe in Hoboken, as well as filming at a branch of the Montclair Public Library.

It’s no surprise that avid Springsteen fans are already wondering whether White looks convincing enough as the young Springsteen. User X thinks he “looks more like AC/DC’s Brian Johnson than Bruce Springsteen.”
